Answer #1

Ethic codes are building blocks for the corporate ethics but it is not sure that ethic codes will build true corporate ethics.

Ethical reputation creates greater good than ethical codes

Values comes from within.it is based on personal value system.if a businessman has ethical codes,he doesn't perform any unethical acts. They know the importance of behaving ethically and hence this will lead to corporate ethics.

Ethical codes doesn't make ethical employees, just like laws doesn't make laws abiding citizens. The respect to the laws comes from within and same lies with the ethical codes

Ethical codes set a goal, not always a standard.it can give only a enough time to develop the sense of ethical code of theot own accord.
