There are many reasons for gender pay gap

1) Male dominated society is the major reason for this pay gap as it is been followed like a tradition from past and is still in practice.

2) Many companies will not be willing to take woman if they are married because of the Motherhood which may happen. So if they are taking also they pay less.

3) Woman have constraints to work in few places where men are not having such constraints.

4) Married woman will not be able work in all shifts and in all places as they have to be away from their husband which will be an issue sometimes

5) There is a disbelief in the society that women work less than men and they will be willing to work at any salary.

6) Men are more in number when compared to women who are willing to work which is also one issue
