Answer #1

Answer - No , I disagree with the given statement. International business studies are not only confined to the multinational corporations and the employees working there. Each and every business works in a very dynamic environment where the conditions are very uncertain and full of risk. Every level of business has to keep an eye on the external environment since its ignorance can deeply affect the business. The study of the international business gives a wider view of the dynamic nature , the possible risks and their solutions. Hence whether the business is small or large , domestic or international , the study can be carried on by anyone and gain benefits .

DISCUSSION- PRODUCTION THEORY First, the idea that firms (and individuals) should make decisions on how they optimize "on the margin" (where MC=MR). Often people get confused and think about making decisions based on the average (such as average total cost). Average total cost includes FIXED costs, which are sunk and should not influence future decisions. Second, the idea of diminishing marginal returns. That's the idea that each additional unit provides less benefit than the previous unit consumed. Use these concepts...

“In summary, corporate governance often does not work in the United States as it should. Agency problems, human nature, large and unwieldy boards of directors, and CEO power and control contribute to this breakdown.” (pg 473, Anson) I think this is a great analogy on summing up the different aspects of problems in corporations. It seems to me that a great deal of the focus of the entire company falls solely on the CEO. When Anson speaks on how CEO’s...
