Sarah is an accountant at a well-known accounting firm. She is also a member of a social club wherein members frequently dress like their favorite Marvel superhero. A photo of Sarah dressed as "Captain Marvel" was published in a local paper. Her boss at the accounting firm, Elaine, saw the photo and became enraged, believing that it negatively impacted the professional reputation of the firm. Elaine intends to fire Sarah. Does Sarah have any legal recourse against this firing? Why or why not?

An accountant is a professional job and if the accountant does not follow the rules and regulations set by the firm or company during the job, the firm or company has the right to fire from the job. But here, after the job timing, she is doing this work in her personal life, so it should not make any difference to the company unless Sarah has signed the rules and regulations before joining the job which also mentions that the this type of employe's act is prohibited. If this is not the case, than Sara has every right to take legal action against the boss or the company.
