Kauffman Stadium, a baseball park located in Kansas city  It is part of the Truman Sports Complex together with the adjacent Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League.

It received a major renovations between 2007 to 2009.

Total cost incurred on renovations: $250 million. (spent on major updates and upgrades in fan amenities, a news Royals hall of fame area, and other updates through out the facility, etc).

Who financed: The Jackson County, Missouri voters approved a hike in sales tax to finance the renovation of Truman sports complex. The budget was approved by the Jackson county, a county located in western US and financed by hike in sales tax.
