1.Lidl is planning to blanket the Jersey Shore with new stores so as to increase the market share by capturing the consumer demand. The challenge is the competion which is striking , price wars , quantity wars and capturing the market share.

2. Lidl is different in the sense that it a larger store( area wise) and has offers more recoganizable brand names at lower discounts. They are similar in the sense that they are two major discount stores in germany with many upcoming stores in U.s

3. Yes , since Lidl anD Aldi doesnot have have a big market share IN U.s (seattle) , they need to come with alternative investment to tackle amazon's plans.
