It will not be ethical to hire a 10 year old boy whatever the circumstances may be. It is a phase where the psycology of the child child will be effected with the huge work load as such a tender age which might not make him to develop into a bright individual. It was not even ethical to fire a 10 year old boy because experiencing failure at such a tender age might damage his perspective on life which might not be good on the whole. Also hiring a 10 year old boy is also illegal according to the jurisdiction.
