If you were doing a cost benefit analysis, how would you assign a value to the opportunity of good health or the existence of rare and endangered species? Is there a cost to pay when we say that there are some things that are immeasurable and priceless?
A cost-benefit analysis (CBA) is the procedure used to measure
the profits of a decision or taking action minus the costs related
with taking that action. In many models, a cost-benefit analysis
will also have the opportunity cost into the decision-making
procedure. Opportunity costs are alternative profits that could
have been gained when selecting one alternative over another.
According to me health is the most precious and valuable thing in
our life so there is no certain amount we ca use for health issues
or to live a healthy life. This reality is applicable to all human,
animal and plants. In my opinion,if i were doing cost analysis I
would like to assign values of importance in consideration to the
vital long term security.
