List and explain the three reasons why FISMA was created for the Federal Government?

FISMA or Federal Information Security Management Act was one of the important tool for regulation and protection of federal datas from all threats and risks. This law was passed through e government act of 2002 by US government. The FISMA was introduced to improve the overall security of sensitive datas through standardization.

The federal datas are very sensitive datas. It has to be protected with all security. This goal is achieved through FISMA. It checks the adequacy of security. It check whether the data is secured or not. Assessed weekly by auditors whether the security measures are sufficient or not.

It not only checking the adequacy but also enforce the security. The data centers needs to prove that the measures very strong and the datas are protected well.
