Why is the United States falling behind Canada, Japan, and many European countries in educational attainment and healthcare?

Answer - In the recent years , the spending of the government has not been adequate in proportion to the rise in population for the education and healthcare sector. The public education spending dropped by 3% , though the population increased by 1 %. The healthcare sector of US is underperforming and is getting inefficient. The hospital cost increase much more than any professional salary. There is a lot of inequality in the access to healthcare because of high costs. Education sector also should inadequate infrastructural developments. These reasons are responsible for the US lagging behind other nations despite being one of the most developed and progressive nation.
