Federal law actually gets to provide protection against discrimination based on color, sex, creed, pregnancy etc while in Albama only offers a little protection of the workers against discrimination unlike the federal law. Anti-discrimination law in Alabama is generally based on federal statutes, with limited causes of action from state and common law where it is only based on paricular facts and circumstances. Unlike the federal law, the state of Albama doesn't include sexual orientation and gender identity under the grounds of gender identity which is something different for this state.
