• Water and Air polllution have become major issues in China. Quality of air has decimated substantially during the high growth rate. Hence, China is planning to spend over 3 trillion yuan to fight air pollution. Further keeping in mind the water pollution, chinese government has planned to spend over 5 trillion yuan to fight water pollution.
• Fight Pollution is crucial for sustained and moderate growth rate else growth rate would be compromised in long run.
• thus, china has pledged to reduce pollution over 30 % by 2030. 2005 has been set as base year.
