What short story, poem, or short play would you add if you had to teach a english class? In your answer, briefly summarize the plot of the piece and discuss what specific aspect(s) of the piece you would focus on if you were teaching it (character, theme, plot, point of view, and/or setting) and why. This must be a short story, poem, or short play that you have already read.

As an English teacher, I would get to prefer 'If', by Rudyard Kipling where he particularly emphasises the view of our life on the whole. In one of his lines, he mentioned that 'If you can Dream and not make dreams your master' tells us about the way he articulated how important the dreams should be in our life. With a matured outlook, the focus would be solely on demonstration of each line which tells us and make us explore about a new chapter in life and this is something required as an individual.
