We have learned about the beliefs and values that surround health care in many different contexts. We know that there is a growing recognition in the benefits afforded to society by the promotion of health and the prevention of disease, disability and premature death. The progress, however, is slow due to prevailing social values and beliefs. The focus is currently on curing disease (reactive) rather than promoting health (proactive). There are many initiatives such as Healthy People that are actively engaged in changing this focus.
For this assignment you will select one initiative that promotes health at the global level, national level, state level, or local level. You will then evaluate the initiative in regards to the impact to you, a local community, to a professional organization and to a medical institution like a hospital or clinic. Include the benefits, or lack thereof, afforded to society through the initiative, the impact to quality of life to each group, the relationship to Blum’s Model of Health Determinants, the relationship to a contemporary model of health determinants, and impact on measures of health (minimally social, mental and spiritual).
Can you give some examples on what I can write about?

This campaign began in regards to the spread of garbage and the necessity to find a solution for the problem through educating families.
Topic: Healthy lifestyle
To maintain a healthy lifestyle, you need to keep eating healthy. Add more fruits and vegetables in your diet and eat less carbohydrates, high sodium and unhealthy fat. Avoid eating junk food and sweets. Avoid skipping a meal—this will only make your body crave more food the moment you resume eating.
