The supremacy clause of the consititution of the UAE establishes that the constitutions , the federal statute the DOJ (Department of Justice) made pusuant to it and the treaties made under its authority which constitute the supeme law of the land and thus take priority over any conflicting emirate laws .That is why in this situation DOJ is empowered to enforce conflicts with the U.A.E Constitution and with an emirate constitution and it is the souce of law with priority over the other bodies .
