that point of time, the US practiced many economic and political
isolation by the other countries, and the country did not seem
interested in the foreign affairs also. The occurrence of the
industrialization increased the industrial economy of the US which
forced the country to rethink their economic and foreign policies.
Before 1865, the goal of the country was to become self-sufficient
and limit the foreign influence on the US and also in the expansion
of America and the westward territories with the growth of Northern
America as well. This marked the beginning of a new era in which
America was busy making a betterment from political and economic
isolation to the imperial also. Which resulted in great
consequences for the country which can be seen till date.
