Humanitarian intervention has been defined as state's use of military power against another state to end human sufferings in that state. There should have been humanitarian intervention in the rwandan genocide. More than 5,00,000 ethnic tutsis were killed. The United Nation peacekeepers did not visit the country inspite of such a huge damage had been done. If there was humanitarian intervention, many people's lives would have been saved and this misery would have not been taken place. The peace making organization or organizations must be taking some initative to save so many innocent people's lives. So, there should have been humanitarian intervention in the rwandan genocide.
