Homework Answers

Answer #1

Endocrine disrupting chemicals are those that have the ability to disturb the hormones produced in human's body. EDC's are very powerful as they can cause serious birth defects, cancer cells and organ impairments.

EDC's are a serious case of concern and hence a few of those are even banned in the market as it is used illegally against people. These are also tested in animals to check the outcome of the dosages. This action of scientists has been condemned by a lot of animal Welfare activists and other social groups.

As these EDC's have a great social impact they are now on the declining trend facing ban from the government. Banning these have caused a reduction in health issues of both animals and humans.
