12b）How has technological advancement and increased productivity changed the nature of available jobs in the USA over the past century?

Is Robert Gordon right when he says that certain jobs are "safe"? Do you think that I will be replaced by a robot before I retire (in about 25 years)?

Technological advancement has vastly changed nature of available jobs. E. G Banks replaced men with Atm;s. Similarly digital photography replaced old photography and those would could not acquire new skills were left behind. Small cars replaced public transport system to much extent. Robots are replacing labour E. G earlier mining was done with help of labours. Now machines have replaced role to much extent. Physical labour was used for public works. Now bulldozers can be found everywhere. Some new jobs like software engineering developed. Similarly telecommunications staff has increased

Yes certain jobs like teaching can't be easily replaced as AI can't replace human mind entirely. I feel little bit safe as I am interested in academics which as said above can't be fully replaced
