If we go by Deloitte's 2019 Global Automotive Consumer Study, 51 % of Gen Y and Z question the need for owning a vehicle in India.

Conclusion: They are more reliant on shared mobility.

Gen Y and Z collectively contribute to the 51% mentioned above and thus, they have more or less similar opinions.

Even if it is self-driving, most Millenials do not want to take up that responsibility of keeping and maintaining a car.

Thus, my suggestion to an entrepreneur would be to come up with innovative solutions and ideas related to shared mobility as the report suggests that millennials as well Gen Y tend to depend more on it.
