Developing countries depend on rich countries to interfere in the political affairs of the developing countries when they face political crisis, they depend on humanitarian assistance provided by rich countries when they face natural or man made disasters.

Rich countries depend upon the natural resources available in developing countries. Natural resources such as hydrocarbons, minerals , forest produce are some of the items that rich countries want developed countries to export to them. Rich countries also depend upon cheap labor available in developing countries .
