According to liberal model of work, individuals should be free to choose the ends of their work. Work can be meaningful and keeps employee positive attitude towards which increases the productivity of the work. Liberals recognise that individuals are significantly influenced by their work and believe that we should make ethical assessments of work on the basis of how that work affects the workers. Hence, the liberal model stress states that work can be meaningful in how it affects a worker’s ability to make free and autonomous decisions about their own life.
