It brought sufficient autonomy and rights to bring policies and utilize already present infrastructure. It further facilitated the planned growth and progress. The participation of Great Britain in European Union brought new opportunities for Scotland  in terms of trade and commerce along with the human capital & labor market. It helped Scotland to progress and grow.
