How might technology influence the importance of training professionals’ roles? Can technology reduce the importance of any of the roles? Can it result in additional roles?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Technology has influence on the importance of training professionals because the changes in the technology happen often and it becomes necessary for trainers to keep the workforce up to par. The training professional's role would rather become easier as they would be able to reach more clients with the help of technology. Technology can never reduce the importance of any role because even if technology is established for training, then one still needs technology professionals to create videos. And if the training program is put in a CD or internet, then too trainers are needed to implement the programs. And depending on the technology which is developed, there are chances that it might result in additional roles.
