Free speech impacted scientific revolution and the enlightenment. In ancient period, due to lack of free speech, people and scholars were not able to question the beliefs that were prevailing in the society. But gradually, when free speech was allowed, people developed scientific temper and communication among the people motivated and shared new knowledge and learning, that ultimately led to scientific revolution and the enlightenment.

Renaissance was the landmark period in history of human development, it gave rise to free speech, apart from this, it led to the development of scientific temper and enlightenment, Further, US and other western countries got developed due to free speech and sharing new knowledge.
