Ans. A business firm can define its responsibilities towards its employees in many ways projecting itself as a socially ideal firm. These welfare steps can be looked upon as:

  1. Better working conditions- the firm can provide its employees with good environmental surroundings with proper seatings, ventilating cabins, sanitation etc.
  2. Fair remuneration- there must not be any kind of discrimination on any grounds being practised in the organization.
  3. Following the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) - by fulfilling the required steps to be taken in the welfare of its employees working as well as the surrounding.
  4. Maternal leaves
  5. Safe environment
