Assume that this class was graded on a curve (it is not, but let's just pretend). If the members of your class were to attempt to form a study-reduction cartel in which everyone agreed to study less, which individuals would have the most to gain from the cartel? Which ones would have the greatest incentive to cheat on the cartel? Why? Ultimately, do you think the cartel would be effective in reducing study time for students? Why?

if the members of the class attempt to form a study reduction cartel in which everyone agreed to study less then the students who are bottom performer in the class would gain most from the cartel.this will happen because the bottom performer in the class usually study for less time so the cartel will help them maintain there habbit. the top performers would have the greatest incentives to cheat because they have potential to study for longer time so they might cheat. the cartel will not be effective in reducing study time as there is no formal agreement among the members. the top students might cheat and read for longer which will ultimately make the cartel fail.
