Business Ethics

Even though most of us agree that it would be immoral to make the world uninhabitable for future people, can we talk meaningfully of those future generations having a right that we not do this. After all, our remote descendants are not yet alive and thus cannot claim a right to a livable environment. In fact, since these generations do not yet exist, they cannot at present, it seems, be said to have any interests at all. How can they then have rights? Can we talk meaningfully of future generations having a right that we not despoil the world they inherit?

Has to be minimum of 100 words.

Answer #1

It can actually be mentioned that the rights of the coming generations should be held in place and this is because of the ethical scenario that prevails and the upcoming generations are actually created by the current generations who are responsible for bringing and helping them to have enough rights for their healthy survival and this is the reason that can be mentioned that the future generations are actually having rights because we are creating them and the burden is on us because they are losing rights due to our deeds and therefore proper action must be taken in order to maintain their rights in place.
