Presidents have large difficulty due to government policies which might not be oriented towards citizen but in higher welfare of fiscal deficit and macroeconomic number.

Higher government spending and lower taxes are sometimes foregone for sake of reducing inflation in economy which ultimately benefits economy but doesnt meet expectations of citizens.

Coupled with multiple conflicts and allegations by opposition parties which tend to create negative picture also works against the President. The Central bank also adopts its own monetary policy which might conflict the fiscal policy and subsequently have no desired effects on economy causing underperformance by President.
