Company shows the reality for promotion. It sells mostly products to business firms. And if company shows that if consumers will get the benefit then company will get the benefit. So consumers will think company wants to do best for win the trust of them.
And this is for distributors also. Like consumers, distributors will think that company is careful about their profit because their profits are directly connected to company's profit.
