Implementing strategy is a process under which strategies and plans are put into action to achieve strategic objectives and goals through development of programs, budgets and procedures.

The four parts of implementing strategy are people, activities, resources and leadership. This is because, an organization is made up of people and for success it is essential that right type of people are in the organization. Planning involves clearly defined activities that are aimed at achieving the pre-determined goals. Resources includes not only right people but also other physical resources. Leadership is needed for guidance, motivation and monitoring.
