why will our writing be better if we select topics that we connect with or have an interest in, such as our career interests?

Answer #1
Our writing will be better if we write about topics we connect with or have
an interest in. The reason is that when you pursue something you are interested
in you remain engrossed in it and the work gets done effortlessly.
For instance, if you are an actor and someone asks you to audition for a movie,
you will perform better than if you were to work as an executive in a bank.
The reason is that you are more motivated to work on something that interests
you rather than something you are not interested in.
