yes a college is wrong to admit students based on ethnicity and race using a quota system. given that there are huge number of students willing to get admission who struggle hard to get it, Amount of labor put in by each student is same so if students get advantage just on the basis of their caste or ethnicity , that is extremely unfair. Rather than providing admission on the basis of race and ethnicity , students who belong to the section getting reservation in admission should be provided ecconomic benefits in terms of fee reduction rather than lower cutoff under quota system. This enables weaker sections proper economic suuport and fair system also get established..
