Globalisation has certainly increased immigration all over the world. While immigration can prove to be benificial for the family members who have migrated , it can be harmful for the family members left behiend.
Although immigration can open new avenue for youth, who can not be employed in their home country due to numerous reasons, it can effect the family relations. Sometimes, family ties are broken due to migration. Young couples have to raise their children alone in the new country. Old parents have no one to take care of them. It depends of individual families if the process has been benificial or determintal. Sometimes, a migrant family may find new bonds in the new country and live happily.
