The most recent current event which happend internationally but had an active involvement of the USA is the listing of Pakistan in the grey list of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) is an inter-governmental body established in 1989 by the Ministers of its Member jurisdictions. It is a financial task force which aimed at setting standards and promotes effective implementation of legal, regulatory and operational measures for combating money laundering, terrorist financing and other related threats to the integrity of the international financial system.

This Proposal was proposed by the USA and the UK and it was further supported by France and Germany in FATF. In the latest meeting held in France, the USA was successful of enlisting Pakistan in Grey list of FATF from June 2018. It has greater consequences in dealing with international terror financing and money laundering.
