A time in my life when comparing marginal benefits and marginal costs was inappropriate is when I went to Universal Studios and couldn’t decide if I wanted the three-day weekend pass or if I wanted the 5-day pass which was cheaper. This was a hard one because I couldn’t decide if I wanted to be at work making more money or if I wanted to finally enjoy myself and this well-deserved vacation.

After my graduation, I had an offer from a well known telecom company. I wanted to pursue post graduation.The costs were corporate experience and financial income. Benefits were the new friends that I got during the course and also the degree which later gave me better job.

As a child I was very passionate about learning a musical instrument and when my parents agreed for a music class then I though it is inappropriate to compare costs and benefits as my passion was above calculations.
