In the 1980s, India was still in its preliminary stage of development as far as missile technologies are concerned. The organisation called ISRO is the incharge of the missile technologies. So, in the initial stage, Vikram Sarabhai, who was the Director of this organisation, took all the blames for the failure of the missions. Slowly and gradually, as Indian missile technologies advanced and the missions started to become successful, the leader shared his share of credit, with his junior fellow mates, thus inhibiting the greatest traits of leadership. His junior fellow mate was none other than Dr. APJ Abdul kalam. Dr. Kalam admitted to have been inspired from Dr. Sarabhai in his speeches that he delivered in the later years of his life.
