Rational messages will be more effective as the consumers tend to be rational by each passing and because of the fact that consumers these days are looking for product's quality and usefulness first which again depicts the rationality of the consumers though both can be used effectively in balance by making message a blend to target both the emotional and the rational or the messages can be used emotional while also stating occasional facts and statistics to make the blend of both. By nature, human beings are emotional creatures thus emotions are highly important in crafting the message.
