A concept worth discussing in this context is the potential for experience co-creation provided by these technologies and the greater control that is placed in the hands of the tourism consumer. While there is certainly a lot of potential for experience enhancement, the big question is whether all mediation is good.  

One of the arguments against the increased application of IT in tourism is that a lot of skills previously connected to tourism experiences are in danger of being lost (e.g. reading maps). This raises the question of whether there is a case for alternative forms of tourism that are specifically geared towards limiting technological mediation. In this case we examine that tourist experience in technology has become a strong industry over the last decade. some locations where there is limited or no internet technology access,these locations can be labelled dead zone.In the below question uses the results from five focous groups as well as considerable supporting literature to map the kinds of experiential outcomes tourist report when they are in dead zone,  positive and negative experiential outcomes araising from operating outside of their usual technology support systems.

In particular case we found that there are major tensions araising from dead zone tourism,specifically stress related to social communication,work communication and refreshing or learning the skills of being fully engaged with the present company and setting.
