Describe the purpose of total control as relates to the image of the state.
Total control in economy is exerted
when the state takes the ownership of all the resources and assets
and distribute it to different classes of people as per the state
policy. The purpose of total control by the state is to bring
equality in resource distribution and bring income equality among
the people. The aim of such policy is to make everyone at the same
level and eliminate all kind of inequality from the classes. Here,
the state assumes that conflict between the different classes take
place only because of unequal distribution of resources, so if the
inequality is eliminated, then it will make the conflict to be
resolved. It also serves the purpose of elimination of poverty and
other social evils from the economy.
Though it does not happen in reality and it discourages private
investments and corruption and grievances slowly grow in the
system.
