ANS: Division of Labour is the specialization of cooperative labor in specific, circumscribed tasks and similar roles.

As the Marx considers the Division of Labour as in manufacture a feature of industrial society and the Durkheim explains about Division of labour in industrial societies as a consequence big increased material and moral density. But unlike Durkheim , he does not see it as to be a means of the cooperation and coexistence.

As the Durkheim argued about the moral regulations was needed as well as economic regulation , to maintain order in society. Unlike the karl Marx, Durkheim did not forces to any different society arising out of the industrial capitalists division of labour.
