Civil Rights Act of 1991 is a law passed by the United States for the labourers who had sued their employers who had discriminated them.This law is an amendment to the Civil Rights Act of 1964.This is also an amendment to Pregnancy Discrimination Act. According to the amendment any employee who is not able to perform / is disabled due to pregnancy/childbirth issues related issues must be treated in the same manner as people with conditions or injuries not related to work. In short pregnant women must get the same benefits as normal working people.
