The unemployement rate is determined using CPS ( current population survey ) which is conducted by means of US Bureau of labor statistics .The problem with its accuracy is that the true percentage of those people who dont have jobs is more worse than the sytate official unemployement rate because of lack in collecting certain information by the current population survey . First it do not account whether the worker is working full time or not , and if they are uneremployed or if the worker has gave up searching for jobs because of their discouragement .Another problem with this is that it cant be used accurately to compare the level of unemployement in different years because of changes in the gae makeup of the population of country .
