1. As we know the phenomenon of globalization is not new. What is new is its magnitude,
impact, and speed of global economic forces on companies, employees, environment, and
international trade and investment. This is truly a revolution, and its consequences remain
unclear. With this in mind, consider the following questions:
i. Do you believe in free trade or protection? Why?
ii. In your judgment, what are the five major factors influencing globalization in the
world today?
iii. Based on your assessment, what specifically can managers of MNCs do to
respond to these challenges?

1) I strongly believe in free trade with rationality. Free trade will strengthen global economy as a whole but some rational restrictions is needed to protect local Market from flood of cheaper goods and also stop bad practice in free trade like manipulation of currency and cheaper trade as well as irrational subsidies.

Factor:1) political scenario of regions ....middle east 2) culture aspects. ...religion race etc also reflect in economic activities.3) technology 4) social status of region. . Tribal areas are far from globalisation.

5) economic Conditions. . Backwards region bof Africa still vfar from globalisation.

Mnc have to adapt themselves as per requirements of particular regions and their aspects of ulture, society, economic status, political scenarios or stability ,technological and communitcation gap or barrier etc.
