There are many disadvantages to the DACA program. The first disadvantage is that it will promote illegal immigration of the minor individuals who are given deferred benefits of 2 years. It means that there is a window for a minor to come in illegal ways and continue to stay. The second disadvantage is DACA only defers the deportation and it is not a solution or amnesty for the minors, living as illegal immigrants. The third disadvantage is the facilitation of the deportation in the hindsight. DACA gives the opportunity to extend the stay for 2 years, but it takes important information about the minors that finally assists the department to deport the minors. The fourth disadvantage is that DACA authorized individuals get different sets of benefits in different states of the USA. Sometimes, it becomes disadvantageous to get DACA for these people.
