The biggest trading partner in terms of exports and imports of South Korea is China. In the previous year, South Korea or the Republic of Korea exported more than 23 percent of the total value of its exports to China. South Korea also imported more than 18 percent of the total value of its imports from China. In terms of the value of exports and imports, China is the largest trading partner of South Korea. Therefore, we can say China is the biggest trading partner of South Korea.

In the reverse situation, we cannot say the same for South Korea that it is the biggest trading partner for China.
