Historically, how did the American Medical Association (AMA) influence the training of Medical Professionals in the USA?
A common sense question: In light of the ACAs focus on maintaining health and preventative medicine, the trend favoring "specialization" in the Medical professions (Cardiologists, Oncologists, OBGYN, etc.) as opposed to Primary Care, in the USA may have negative effects on the provision of health care. Briefly discuss this statement.
Hint: Think about what type of provider (doctor, nurse, etc.) is most suitable for providing the services required for the newer policy to be effective. Primary care or specialty care.
American medical Association has observed profound effects on quality of health care services and providing education such that quakified physicians are produced every year. Large scale innovation and capital expenditure on medical devices and technology have been spent to boost bouquet of services.
Specialization has seen negative effects because of higher premiums for insurance and cost of servicing high quality physiscians which thus become limited in supply and thus prices get raised makingvACA unaffordable and unaccessible for rural areas and lowest quintile of population
Primary care and speciality care both are required in combination and good mix with weighted average which meets demand is need of hour.
