Answer #1
Globalization has led to an increase in wealth of countries around the world.
Before the advent of globalization, a country was either in the 1st world, 2nd world,
or 3rd world.
After an increase in globalization, the world has been divided as the developed countries and the developing countries.
The world economy has grown because of globalization. The world has seen economic growth because of
globalization. Free trade policies has given the opportunity for companies to expand beyond
their borders. Regardless of the country's geographic location, countries nowadays have companies
that are selling to a global market. The main beneficiary of this are the global corporations that
are present in many different countries of the world.
The developing countries (like India and China) have seen tremendous economic growth. On the other hand developed countries
in the western world now have global corporations. The global corporations have also benefited making large amounts of profits
by expanding their customer base to various different countries. Coke and Pepsi for example are based in the United States and
have a worldwide presence.
Many people, especially in the developing world have been lifted out of poverty through new jobs that have been created as a result
of economic progress.
However, even though the world has seen advancement as a result of globalization there are some negative effects of
globalization.
There is now more inequality in all developed and developing countries. In other words, people are accumulating enormous wealth
regardless of the country they are situated in. People are accumulating wealth through different types of business activities.
However, if a person is not highly motivated with special skills required to make lots of money then the person gets left behind.
People feel unequal because they might not possess the skills and other qualities to make a fortune as opposed to others who
accumulate large amounts of wealth through some type of business activity.
The inequality that has been created because of globalization has also given rise to terrorism all across the world.
Globalization has also resulted in western countries have a lesser influence over the rest of the world. There are many
people in western countries who might feel that globalization only benefits the rich and wealthy. Furthermore, people in
western countries are disliking losing the influence they once had. A person now situated in any country across the world might
have a better standard of living than a person in the developed western countries.
Industrialization as a result of globalization has led to global warming. Global warming is a global phenomenon that challenges the
world today. Global warming and air pollution are serious environmental problems that have happened as a result of globalization.

Globalization is a positive phenomenon, however the world has to counter the negative effects of globalization.
