Would you rather own your own business independently or become a franchise? Why?

I would rather take up a franchise provided the fact that I'm a risk averse person. The main advantages that are to be consider in going up for a franchise business can be mentioned as that the brand is already a well known and established brand in other areas, the business model that has been followed by the company has been proven to have a vital track record, the franchisor will always be there to make the training programs done with the employees effectively and most important of all is that the franchisor gets to take part in the market assistance programs and this could be very helpful for the growing of the business all in all. These advantages make the risk less when compared with opening an own business and that's the reason behind options a franchise.
