US has huge wealth inequality which is not unusual in the global economy as every country is facing this problem. Based on few reports, to 20% owns more than 80% of world financial assets while in the US 1% of the population owns around 38% of the US's total wealth.

I do not see this problem will reducve going forward as no much efforts are made this regard and in addition richer continues to rich more so rising inequality will increase.
